Do you love kids? Are you someone that loves the water and is eager to share your love of the water with others? Would you like to have fun while making good money? Would you like a stress-free environment? Worden Aquatics is the place for you!

We're looking for full-time and part-time private swim lesson instructors and swim team coaches for our non-competitive swim teams. Starting pay can range between $17 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. We provide training.

Worden Aquatics offers a free WSI class for all of our swim lesson instructors and swim team coaches.

We offer FREE, on-the-job instructor training for individuals interested in joining the Worden Aquatics team. This training is designed to support new instructors as needed and ensure consistency, confidence, and safety in our swim lesson program. There is no cost to participate.

Training prerequisites:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

  • Must be able to swim 25 yards of front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke

For candidates who need additional preparation to meet these requirements, our team will provide support and guidance prior to training. Many instructors with prior experience may already meet all expectations and can move directly into teaching.

Please note:
Swim team coach applicants are not required to complete instructor training. Instructors with previous swim lesson experience may be exempt from some or all training components.
